Learn how to make your own unique carved stamp and prints on paper to take home.
Want to get started with printmaking, but don't know how? This class is intended to take the fear out of it, and help you to get started making beautiful carved prints! In this class, we will go over printmaking materials and how to properly use them, how to come up with designs, and how to create a print on paper using your carved stamp. Participants will be given carving blocks they will keep and lent carving tools for the duration of the class. Participants can make as many prints as they like in the time allotted!
Disclaimer: Printmaking, even making a rubber stamp, utilizes a sharp hand carving tool. Students who sign up for this class will learn how to properly and safely use this tool for their art project.
